Developed at the X laboratory in 2014, Wing is a service owned by Google that delivers packages using drones. As of April 2019, Wing is approved and is beginning operation in select locations in Virginia and Australia. Wing delivers products short distances from local retailers in these areas that sell lightweight products, like fast food and over-the-counter drugs.
