Released on November 12, 2015, YouTube Music is a music and media streaming service offered by YouTube. YouTube Music allows users to listen to songs or watch music videos based on search, genres, suggestions, or previously created playlists.

Basic service is free, but a premium monthly subscription enables users to download songs for offline play and removes ads. Premium service is $4.99/month for students, $9.99/month for a single account, and $14.99/month for a family account. As Google now owns YouTube, users with a Google Play Music subscription can also enjoy the benefits of YouTube Premium.

There is also a YouTube Music app available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
