Ctrl+0 (zero) keyboard shortcut.

Alternatively known as Control+0 and C-0, ^0, Ctrl+0 is a shortcut key most commonly used to restore the default zoom level in an Internet browser. Below are other programs that use this keyboard shortcut and related information.

This page covers the Ctrl+0 (zero) shortcut and not the Ctrl+O (letter 'O') shortcut.

How to use the Ctrl+0 shortcut key

To use this keyboard shortcut, press either Ctrl, and while pressing that key, press 0.

For this shortcut to work, use 0 above the top row keys, not on the numeric keypad.

Using Ctrl+0 in an Internet browser

In all major Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox), pressing Ctrl+0 changes the zoom level back to its default setting. For example, if you've pressed Ctrl++ to zoom in on a web page and later wanted to restore the default zoom level, press Ctrl+0 to restore the browser's original zoom setting.

Ctrl+0 in Excel 2019

In Microsoft Excel, pressing Ctrl+0 hides the column containing the active cell or multiple columns if more than one is selected.

Ctrl+0 in Microsoft Word

In Microsoft Word, pressing Ctrl+0 toggles 6pts of spacing above the paragraph of where the cursor is located.
