2-in-1 laptop

A 2-in-1 laptop is a computing device that can be used either as a tablet or a laptop. In tablet mode, a 2-in-1 laptop runs touch screen applications, using an OSK (on-screen keyboard) for text input. In laptop mode, it runs traditional desktop software and is controlled by a physical keyboard, and a touchpad or USB (universal serial bus) mouse. On some 2-in-1 laptops, the keyboard and touchpad are detachable, making the device slimmer and more portable in tablet mode.
Examples of popular 2-in-1 laptops include the Microsoft Surface, the Google Pixelbook, and the Lenovo Flex.
