How to use the Windows+Ctrl+D keyboard shortcut

To use this keyboard shortcut, press and hold either Windows key and Ctrl keys, and while continuing to hold, press D.

While running Microsoft Windows, pressing Windows key+Ctrl+D creates a new desktop.

Tip

Press Windows key+Tab to switch between desktops. Press Windows key+Ctrl+F4 to close a new desktop.
