Below is a listing of each of the Microsoft Windows programs
and their associated run line commands to quickly access each of
the programs. For example, the run line command associated with
calculator is "calc" typing this in the run line and pressing
enter will open the Windows calculator.
In addition to the listing of programs and their associated
run line commands each of the
Control Panel icons can also be run through the run line by
typing the name of the .cpl file associated with the icon. A
full listing of each of these files can be found on
document CH000136.
Finally, the majority of the MS-DOS or command
line commands can also be run from the run line. A listing of
these commands can be found through our
MS-DOS page.
