Founded on February 8, 1991, as Silicon & Synapse and in 1994 changed its name to Blizzard. Today, Blizzard and Blizzard North are one of the most well-known gaming developers. Blizzard has released such popular games as World of Warcraft and the WarCraft series, StarCraft, Diablo, and Overwatch.
